Bruce Charnov's Rotec R2800 Radial Engine on Little Wing Autogyro Project:

Bruce Charnove and his R2800 powered LittleWing Autogyro Project

I think it fair to describe Bruce as a self confessed enthusiast of autogyros and his involvement toward owning one came about when Rotec produced an engine to accommodate Ron Herron's Little Wing Autogyro.

Bruce placed his order for the Rotec R2800 engine towards the end of 2002 making it one of the earliest engines purchased. Delays occurred through Bruce's commitments to academia and its only late August of 2012 that we learned that his Little Wing was completed and waiting on paper-work for the plane's first flight.

Hey Paul and Jim,

Here is a shot of Bruce Charnov's machine.  I completed taxi and rotor spin-up tests today. It is ready for flight testing whenever Bruce gets it registered and licensed.

I thought you might get a 'kick' out of seeing it together and  'almost' finished. (Still lacks red lettering and registration number)

I also have attached a shot of the two radials parked side-by-side.  I have removed my prop to test Bruce's engine but will be ordering one for him in the next few days.
